Return and Refund Policy

Last updated:

Scope of This Policy

This Return and Refund Policy explains how payments, deposits, and refunds are handled for web development and related services provided by Uniquecareunique.

Nature of Our Services

Our services are custom and project-based. Each website is designed and developed according to the specific requirements you share with us. Because of this personalized nature, our services are generally not eligible for traditional product "returns".

Deposits and Payments

Before we begin work on a project, we typically require an upfront deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion or according to the milestones outlined in your proposal or agreement. Payment terms will be clearly described in your individual project documentation.

Refunds for Services

We aim to deliver work that meets the scope and quality agreed upon. Because our time and resources are committed to your project, refunds are limited:

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has started, as they cover initial planning, design, and setup time.
  • If you decide to cancel a project before work has started, we may, at our discretion, refund part or all of your deposit.
  • If you believe delivered work does not match the agreed scope, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, make reasonable revisions.

Any refund that may be granted will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the work already completed and costs incurred.

Change Requests and Revisions

Reasonable revisions within the agreed project scope are typically included in our services. Requests that go beyond the original scope may require additional fees, which we will discuss with you in advance. Choosing not to proceed with additional work outside the original scope does not entitle you to a refund for services already provided.

Project Cancellation by Client

If you choose to cancel a project after work has begun, you will be responsible for paying for all work completed up to the cancellation date, as well as any non-recoverable third-party costs. Any amounts already paid may be applied toward this work. We will provide a summary of completed work and associated costs upon request.

Project Cancellation by Us

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a project (for example, due to non-payment, repeated failure to provide required inputs, or other serious issues). If we cancel for reasons not related to your breach of the agreement, we will refund any amounts paid for work not yet performed.

Third-Party Services and Fees

Some aspects of your project may involve third-party services such as domain registration, hosting, or software licenses. These services are typically governed by their own terms and refund policies. Fees paid to third parties may be non-refundable, and any refund requests must follow the policies of those providers.

How to Request a Review or Refund

If you have concerns about your project or believe that a refund may be appropriate, please contact us as soon as possible. We encourage you to:

  • Explain the issue clearly, including which part of the project is in question
  • Provide any relevant documentation, such as proposals or email correspondence
  • Suggest how you would like the issue to be resolved

We will review your request fairly and respond within a reasonable period of time.
